Ever meet a guy and and wonder if he’s really into you or not? Have no fear. It’s happened to everyone.
One of the most difficult parts of dating someone new is figuring out if your guy genuinely likes you and wants to be with you. Maybe you’ve been burned way too many times by jerks or maybe you’re just a paranoid or skeptical person. No matter what the reason, some women tend to go into new relationships with their guards raised. That can be a good thing at first, but it might lead you to second guess your new man down the line. If your guy is exhibiting any of the following behaviors, put your paranoia to rest. He might like you if:
He takes interest in your hobbies and passions.
If your guy is open-minded and seems genuinely excited to do something that may not be his cup of tea, he’s a keeper. He clearly wants to spend time with you no matter what you are doing.
He spends time with you (and your family and friends).
If your guy puts aside days and nights for you, embrace it! Scheduling date nights for the two of you is a move in the right direction, especially if it’s a mix of things you both like. A guy who isn’t feeling it won’t put in those hours with you and your loved ones. If he doesn’t make that effort, you probably should be worried.
He looks at you (and I mean really looks at you).
Can you feel your guy’s eyes on you when you’re together? What about when you guys are out in a group? Does he look like he’s completely interested in whatever you’re saying or doing? If yes, this is a very good sign. You can learn a lot about someone through your eyes even if they aren’t the emotional type.
His friends are cool with you.
A lot can be said about how a guy’s friends act towards a new girlfriend. A guy’s friends will more likely than not make an effort to get to know their buddy’s new girlfriend if they know she’s special. If your guy is telling his friends about how great you are or maybe even that he thinks you’re the one, you’ll see his friends try to get to know you more. They’ll try to make you feel comfortable and feel like part of the group.
He takes the time to make it work.
If you guys have an argument, pay close attention to how you resolve the issue. Does he let you express your feelings without jumping down your throat? Or does he try to put all the blame on you and make you the bad guy. If it’s the former, he cares. A guy will put in a sincere effort to work through any issues when he wants to be with you.
He likes to take care of you.
Does your guy legitimately seem concerned about your well-being, wants and needs? This could mean anything from taking care of you when you’re sick to surprising you with that bracelet you wanted. If your guy is making the effort to ensure you’re taken care of, he wants to be with you.
Long story short: if your man is making you feel special and loved, you’re in the clear. In every new relationship, there should be a point where all of a sudden you realize how much your guy really cares for you. It’s at this point that you know what you have is the real deal and you can finally breathe easier and let your guard down.
